Meditation
is a practice used for training the mind in a way that will cause one to
experience increased happiness and deeper satisfaction in every aspect
of their lives. There
are a variety of meditation techniques to choose from, but no one
technique is better than another in its ability to produce the desired
results. The choice of a technique is simply a question of what suits
any given individual.
As
a way of coming to understand one’s Higher Self, meditation can be
central to one’s spiritual life. However, meditation in itself is
secular, and one does not need to be religious or spiritual to benefit
from meditation.
